An Evening That Changed Everything

It was a perfectly ordinary Tuesday evening. The restaurant was half full, candles flickered on every table, and the kitchen smelled of roasted garlic and fresh thyme. I stood behind the counter as always, watching our guests.

At table seven sat an elderly couple. They had been coming to us for years — always on Tuesdays, always the same table. That evening, the woman told me she had once run a small inn herself, in a village in Styria where the mountains were so close you could almost touch them.

"Write your stories down," she said to me. "The stories from this kitchen, about your guests, about the small moments. One day you'll be glad you did."

I thought about it for a long time. And now, months later, here I am writing my first post. Not because I'm a writer — but because this restaurant is more than a place to eat. It's a place full of stories. And some of them I want to share with you.

This is the beginning of something new. Welcome to our little world.
